The oral cavity of dogs and cats, and in particular the mucous membrane from which it is coated, represents a district with a very high biological reactivity.
This is due both to repeated mechanical and microbial stresses, and to purely anatomical reasons, since there are areas in which there can be "stagnation" that favor irritation (dento-gingival junction and gingival sulcus).
If you add to this odontostomatological manual skills such as scaling or dental extraction and / or pathologies of the oral cavity, it is very clear that prevention is fundamental, which must be implemented both with periodic checks by your trusted veterinarian, and with products aimed at reducing the deposition of bacterial plaque.
Bad breath itself should not only be regarded as a nuisance by owners, but as a real symptom that indicates a medical problem.

ICF, aware of these needs, has formulated and patented a dental gel for dogs and cats that:

• supports the treatment of primary inflammatory diseases (stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis) and secondary (scaling, dental extractions) of the oral cavity;

• Chlorhexidine digluconate, max 0.07%, active towards sensitive microorganisms;

• Phytosphingosine, able to stabilize the correct reactivity of the mucous membranes, carrying out a soothing and anti-redness action;

• Tris-EDTA, which acts in synergy with both chlorhexidine, prolonging its effectiveness, and with phytosphingosine, improving its action;

• Safflower oil, rich in vitamins, but above all in Ω6 which implement the activity of phytosphingosine;

How to use it
▶Using the special applicator, apply on the outer edge of the lower gum, massaging gently:
1cm of product per side in dogs up to 5kg in weight and in cats
2 cm of product per side in dogs from 5 to 15 kg in weight
· 3 cm of product per side in dogs from 15 to 25 kg in weight
4 cm of product per side in dogs weighing 25 kg and over
▶Use 1-2 times a day for at least 15-20 days or as directed by the veterinarian
