Farmina Vet Life Oxalate ist ein diätetisches Alleinfuttermittel für ausgewachsene Hunde zur Reduzierung von Urat-, Oxalat- und Cystin-basierten Steinen.
KOMPOSITION
Reis, Hafer, tierisches Fett, dehydrierte Vollei, Leinsamen, hydrolysierte tierische Proteine, Rübentrockenschnitzel, Fischöl, Calciumcarbonat, Pflanzenöl, Natriumchlorid.
Proteinquellen: ganze dehydrierte Eier.
Urinalkalisierende Zusatzstoffe: Kaliumcitrat (9g/kg).
Gesamtes Vitamin D 650UI.
Es ist auch bei Patienten mit fortgeschrittenen Nierenerkrankungen indiziert.
WIRKMECHANISMUS
Farmina Vet Life Oxalate enthält niedrige Konzentrationen an Kalzium, Vitamin D3, um die Bildung von Uraten auf Oxalatbasis zu reduzieren.
Die geringen Konzentrationen an Proteinen und schwefelhaltigen Aminosäuren reduzieren die Bildung von Kristallen auf Basis von Cystin und Uraten.
Der alkalische pH-Wert des Urins, der durch die Wirkung von Kaliumcitrat erzeugt wird, erhöht den Sättigungspunkt der Kristalle.
Niedrige Kupferkonzentrationen vermeiden die toxische Wirkung dieses Elements, das sich in der Leber anreichert.
