kPROTECT ist ein Produkt, das speziell für Hunde und Katzen mit chronischer Nierenerkrankung (CKD) entwickelt wurde.
Mit seinen hochreinen Bestandteilen (Natriumbicarbonat, Calciumcarbonat und Chitosan) kann kPROTECT bei der Kontrolle von metabolischer Azidose und Hypokalzämie hilfreich sein, die bei Hunden und Katzen häufig im fortgeschrittenen Stadium der CNI diagnostiziert werden.
Calciumcarbonat hat sich bei der Kontrolle von Hypokalzämie als wirksam erwiesen.
Natriumbicarbonat ist wirksam bei der Kontrolle der metabolischen Azidose.
Chitosan kann helfen, die Azotämie bei CNI-betroffenen Tieren zu verbessern. kPROTECT wird in Kombination mit einer Diät für Nephropathen und gemischt mit Futter bei Hunden und Katzen mit chronischer Nierenerkrankung mit Azotämie, metabolischer Azidose und/oder Hypokalzämie empfohlen.
Wie benutzt man
kPROTECT Kautabletten : 1,25 g. Eine Kautablette alle 10 kg Körpergewicht zweimal täglich mit einer Mahlzeit zu den Hauptmahlzeiten.
Die Tagesdosis kann gemäß den Anweisungen Ihres Tierarztes geändert werden.
kPROTECT-Pulver : ab 45 g. Ein Messlöffel alle 5 kg Körpergewicht zweimal täglich gemischt mit Nahrung zu den Hauptmahlzeiten.

Komposition
Natriumbicarbonat, Calciumcarbonat, Chitosan, natürliche Aromen. Hilfsstoffe: Mikrokristalline Cellulose.
