Vectra 3D ist ein Tierarzneimittel, das drei Wirkstoffe enthält: Dinotefuran, Pyriproxyphen und Permethrin. Es ist als Lösung zum Auftropfen in Applikatoren in fünf verschiedenen Stärken zur Anwendung bei Hunden unterschiedlichen Gewichts erhältlich.
Wofür wird Vectra 3D verwendet?
Vectra 3D wird bei Hunden zur Behandlung und Vorbeugung von Floh- und Zeckenbefall eingesetzt. Außerdem wirkt es abweisend gegen Sandfliegen, Mücken und Fliegen. (Stomoxys calcitrans). Seine Wirkung hält bis zu einem Monat an und verhindert die Vermehrung der Federn, hemmt das Öffnen der Eier und das Auftreten von Erwachsenen für zwei Monate. Es kann auch als Teil einer Strategie zur Behandlung von allergischer Flohdermatitis (eine allergische Reaktion auf Flohbisse) verwendet werden.
Die Dosis von Vectra 3D hängt vom Körpergewicht des Hundes ab. Der Inhalt eines ganzen Applikators von Vectra 3D wird direkt auf die Haut des Hundes aufgetragen, wobei die Haare in einem oder mehreren Punkten, basierend auf dem Gewicht des Hundes, oder in einer durchgehenden Linie vom Schwanzansatz entlang der Mitte des Hundes getrennt werden den Rücken nach hinten auf die Schulterblätter. Die Behandlung kann einmal im Monat wiederholt werden.
