Das Katzen-DM von Purina Veterinary Diets ist eine sehr kohlenhydratarme Diät, die sich bei der Ernährungsunterstützung von Katzen mit Diabetes mellitus als sehr effektiv erwiesen hat, da sie die Glukoseregulierung verbessert und bei vielen Menschen die Remission des Diabetes fördert.
- Klinisch nachgewiesene Reduzierung des exogenen Insulinbedarfs bei diabetischen Katzen und daraus resultierende Verbesserung der Blutzuckerkontrolle
- Niedrige Kohlenhydratkonzentration zur Verringerung der postprandialen Hyperglykämie.
- Erhöhte Vitamin-E-Spiegel, um oxidativen Stress im Zusammenhang mit Diabetes mellitus zu reduzieren.
