Der hohe Feuchtigkeitsgehalt der Nahrung trägt dazu bei, das Risiko von Rückfällen zu begrenzen, indem er das Harnmilieu für die Bildung von Steinen ungünstiger macht. Eine kontrollierte Energieaufnahme verringert das Risiko von Fettleibigkeit, einer möglichen Ursache für die Entwicklung von FLUTD. Frisches Hühnchen und frisches Rindfleisch machen das Essen äußerst appetitlich und fördern den Verzehr auch bei Menschen mit schwierigem Geschmack, Appetitlosigkeit oder Magersucht.
Die Prolife Veterinary Formula-Linie umfasst Nährstoffkomponenten mit spezifischer therapeutischer Wirkung, die bei der Ernährungsbehandlung verschiedener Pathologien nützlich sind.
