CURRAGH CARRON OIL enthält einen hohen Anteil an essentiellen Fettsäuren: Omega 3 und Omega 6.
Beide sind wichtig für die Gesundheit des Pferdes und haben sowohl eine strukturelle als auch eine funktionelle Rolle, die für die Aufrechterhaltung eines gesunden und leistungsfähigen Körpers unerlässlich ist.Zu den Omega-3-Konvertern zählen insbesondere Alpha-Linolen-Fettsäure sowie Eicosapentain- (EPA) und Docosahexaen- (DHA) Säuren.
Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass die Zugabe von EPA und DHA zur Ernährung des Pferdes entzündliche Prozesse reduziert und zur Aufrechterhaltung des Kreislaufsystems beiträgt.
