Oster Cryogen-X ™ -Köpfe sind für den professionellen Einsatz, austauschbar, aus nachschärfbarem Edelstahl, für die Tierpflege Auch geeignet für andere Oster-, Moser-, Aesculap-, Wahl-, Fuss-Dog- und Andis-Schermaschinen praktisch alle Marken-Schermaschinen, die Schnellwechselköpfe unterstützen. Osterköpfe sind rostfrei und kratzfest. Die Schutzbeschichtung "Ostercote" schützt die Klingen. Die Zähne bestehen aus Stahl und feinkörnigem Carbon. Für beste Ergebnisse sind die Schneidzähne maschinell bearbeitet. Die spezielle "Ostercote"-Schutzbeschichtung und die Härte der Klingen (Rockwell 62) verlängern die Lebensdauer der Köpfe.
Die Angabe "F" bedeutet, dass der Schneidkopf ein "festes" Zahnblatt hat. Die "F"-Köpfe eignen sich daher besonders für die Pflege von Tieren mit weichem und sehr feinem Haar.
