      • The generic term of exotic refers to passerines mainly included in the family of the Estrildidae.
        Among the numerous species we mention the Erythrura gouldiae or Gouldian Finch, native to Australia where it populates the northern area of the island.
        It is a sociable bird and lives in numerous groups, even in the breeding season.
        In nature it moves in flocks among open forests and shrubs, looking for seeds on the ground.
        We also remember Taeniopygia guttata (Mandarin diamond), Amandava amandava (Common Bengal), Neochmia temporalis (Red eyelash diamond), Lonchura oryzivora (Java finch), Peophila acuticauda (Long-tailed diamond).

        • Among the many genera, species and subspecies of the Estrildidae family, the dimensions vary from 8.5 cm for the weight of 8 g of the smallest species (Estrilda troglodytes) to 17 cm and 28 g of the largest (Lonchura oryzivora).

        Instructions for proper use
