Contraindications: The use of the product is contraindicated in subjects suffering from blood dyscrasias and CNS disorders. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Side effects: The use of the product may cause the appearance of disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract (vomiting and diarrhea) and hypersensitivity reactions characterized by the appearance of skin rashes and eruptions of various kinds. Prolonged use of products based on antibacterial agents causes alterations in the intestinal microbial flora, carries the risk of superinfections by non-susceptible microorganisms, including fungi; and causes CNS disorders including drowsiness, staggering, ataxia, weakness and peripheral neuropathies. In this case, discontinue treatment.

Use during pregnancy, lactation or egg-laying: Use during egg-laying is not recommended.

Interaction with other veterinary medicinal products and other forms of interaction: Due to the MAO inhibitory action of furazolidone, avoid concomitant administration of products containing sympathomimetic amines. Dimetridazole may cause disulfiram-like reactions when administered in combination with alcohol; therefore, avoid any simultaneous administration of alcohol-based drops or syrups.

Dosage and administration route: Mix 10 g of product per kg of feed very well, in order to obtain excellent homogeneity and administer for a period of 5-10 consecutive days.

Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes) if necessary: The uptake of the medicine by animals may be altered as a result of disease. Prolonged use should be avoided by improving management practices and by cleaning and disinfection. Do not mix with liquid feed or drinking water. Use in lay is not recommended. The use of the product should be based on sensitivity tests against bacteria isolated from animals. If this is not possible, therapy should be based on local epidemiological information due to possible variations in the sensitivity of the target bacteria. Do not exceed the recommended doses. Use the product according to the instructions for use indicated. Mix thoroughly to obtain excellent homogeneity. Special precautions for those administering the product to animals: when handling the veterinary medicinal product, use gloves and a mask. Overdose: any overdose manifests itself with an exacerbation of the previously described side effects, especially those affecting the skin and the CNS. In this case, suspend treatment and initiate appropriate symptomatic therapy. Incompatibilities: In the absence of compatibility studies, do not mix with other veterinary medicinal products.

Withdrawal period: Not applicable. The use of the veterinary medicinal product on animals producing food intended for human consumption is prohibited.

Storage: Store in a dry place, at a temperature below 25 degrees C and away from light. Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 180 days. Shelf life after insertion into the feed: 24 hours.
