Shampoo for dogs and cats to be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of skin infections (pyoderma) and bacterial proliferation.
+ Chlorhexidine 3%: molecule with bactericidal activity used in clinical practice for the topical treatment of pyoderma.
+ Ceramides: lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.
+ Phytosphingosines: compounds of a lipidic nature, significantly present in the horny layer of the skin of mammals, with anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic activity.
The 3% concentration of chlorhexidine is considered effective in all clinical studies carried out and the presence of ceramides and phytosphingosines allows to preserve or restore the integrity of the superficial lipid film. The integrity of the epidermal barrier is essential in subjects suffering from atopic dermatitis so it is important to keep dryness, dehydration and skin irritation under control.
Theraxidin is useful for treating any type of pyoderma and is great for managing people who develop recurrent pyoderma.
Wet the animal's coat, apply evenly a small amount of product, massaging for 5/10 minutes so that the shampoo comes into contact with the skin, then rinse thoroughly. The frequency of use can vary from 1 to 3 times a week depending on the advice of the veterinarian.
