ADDED NATURAL PRINCIPLES

Lespedeza (Lespedeza spp.):with diuretic action, it tends to reduce azotemia and cholesterol. Contains flavonoids which have an antispasmodic action and purify the urinary system. It has positive effects in acute and chronic renal failure only if the renal parenchyma is not severely compromised. Lespedeza promotes the urinary excretion of urea and Cl cations, as well as promotes the increase of the osmolarity of the urine.

Pilosella) (Hieracium pilosella:with diuretic action, it promotes the healing process at the level of the bladder mucosa. It has been shown that it also has a marked antibiotic activity against some pathogenic microorganisms, especially against germs of the genus Brucella.

Nettle (Urtica dioica):it has diuretic and purifying properties. Promotes relaxation of the bladder and therefore improves the outflow of urine.

Cranberry(Vaccinium macrocarpon):with disinfectant properties on the urinary tract: blueberry extracts inhibit the adhesion of coliforms to the intestinal and bladder walls. Blueberry is able to reduce the adhesion of bacteria to the cells of the bladder and is also able to cause the detachment of about 70% of previously immobilized bacteria. It is also useful as a free radical scavenger: blueberry acts as an antioxidant by counteracting the oxidation of LDL in a similar way to vitamin C or vitamin E. Furthermore, blueberry also helps in removing LDL cholesterol from plasma.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale):it helps to promote the production of bile, facilitates intestinal transit and is also essential for eliminating excess fluids. Dandelion is considered a mild laxative as it promotes the excretion of feces and is able to decrease gastrointestinal inflammation. The inulin contained in the dandelion helps the maintenance and proliferation of the positive intestinal bacterial flora and therefore promotes the well-being of the whole organism. It also has a diuretic action, useful in the treatment of water retention and a purifying action.
