BE KALM is the new oral paste product formulated to promote a mitigating action of the excitatory states or impatience that occur in particular stressful situations or anxiety-inducing states in the horse.
In addition to the traditional ingredients also present in other similar products (tryptophan, magnesium and B vitamins), BE KALM contains:
- Fermented plant extracts
- Antioxidants from olive trees
- Aspergillus oryzae extract
- Bark ofUlmus rubra
- PEA
Going into detail:
- Tryptophan: precursor of serotonin (neurotransmitter) which in case of low internal production would manifest itself in various animal species with aggression, fear and stress. An intake of tryptophan should allow a greater production of serotonin and consequently a more evident calming response
- Magnesium: used to relax the muscles and intervene in the functioning of the nervous system, helping to reduce hypersensitivity
- Vitamins of group B: mainly used to mitigate the negative effects caused by serotonin deficiency
These "traditional" ingredients have been associated with:
- Fermented herb and flower flour *.plants used:
- Hypericum, Passiflora, Escolzia, Camomile = overt calming actions
- Eleutherococcus: adaptogenic properties, increase in psychophysical performance, stimulation of immune functions
*The fermentation process used has the purpose of eliminating most of the toxic or anti-nutritional substances present in the flours and to make available the active nucleus of the various substances from the elements that limit their effectiveness.
- Fermented soybean meal: fermentation allows the release of biologically active substances (peptides) capable of carrying out: relaxing action. The main action is highlighted above all at the level of the gastrointestinal system, which, if it presents gastric problems, very often becomes the cause of states of nervousness.
- Fermented licorice extracts.Glycerric acid: antioxidant properties
- Ulmus rubra: soothing, lubricating and decongestant action on the stomach
- PEA: substance produced "on demand" by the body whose action is aimed at the inflammatory and painful component of the body
COMPOSITION
FermSoy (fermented soybean flour), magnesium oxide, fermented dried herbs and flowers (Escolzia, Passiflora, Chamomile, St. John's Wort, Eleutherococcus), glycerol, fermented licorice root, Ulmus Rubra flour, sucrose, palmitoylethanolamide (PEA).
