Cases in which its use is recommended
The therapeutic management of skin bacterial infections is of considerable importance in clinical practice, as these can cause pyoderma or complicate other diseases.
These infections are annoying to animals because they are accompanied by inflammation and itching.
For this reason THERAXIDIN FOAM is useful as an effective broad-spectrum germicide, in a form of simple and practical use for frequent use, without causing discomfort to your pet.
The innovative formula allows simultaneous skin disinfection and restoration of the lipid barrier that protects the epidermis from external attacks.
It can be used both as monotherapy and in combination with other treatments.
THERAXIDIN FOAM is based on:
• 3% chlorhexidine:the molecule with bactericidal activity most used in clinical practice for the topical treatment of dog pyoderma.
• Ceramides:lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.
The 3% percentage of chlorhexidine is considered effective in all clinical studies carried out and the presence of ceramides allows to preserve or restore the integrity of the superficial lipid film; the integrity of the epidermal barrier is fundamental in subjects suffering from atopic dermatitis, for whom it is imperative to keep skin irritation and dryness under control. the latter linked to the loss of water through the epidermis (dehydration).
THERAXIDIN FOAM is a product indicated for the treatment of any type of pyoderma and is excellent for the long-term management of subjects who develop recurrent pyoderma and in whom frequent foam application can often avoid or reduce the use of systemic molecules.
