FRESH MEAT
All foods are rich in fresh meat (first item on the tag) to respect the primordial nature of the dog, that is, that of carnivore.

DEBONED MEAT
Meat and fish, both fresh, are subjected to boning and boning processes before being used in the production of Prolife foods. To reduce the bone component, the value of the ashes and reserve only the best parts for the feeding of our pets.

ORIGINALLY DESTINATITO HUMAN CONSUMPTION
Some ingredients characterizing food, including meat and fresh fish, but also rice and white sorghum, are of the same quality used for human consumption but destined for pet food for commercial reasons; ingredients often excluded from the human food chain for aesthetic reasons and for non-compliance with standards dictated by the market, trends and eating habits.

LIMITED INGREDIENTS

LOW GRAIN
All foods have a reduced inclusion of cereals, chosen from those free of gluten. Some of these are completely grain free. This is because the dog's original diet did not include cereals and his body is not very predisposed to their digestion.

SINGLE ANIMAL PROTEIN
To meet the needs of sensitive individuals, only one protein source of animal origin has been included in all the foods of the Sensitive and Grain Free lines. Furthermore, we have indicated the total percentage of proteins of animal origin: these proteins have a higher biological value than vegetable ones and respond more to the nutritional needs of dogs as they are mainly carnivores.

NATURAL PRESERVATION
The preservation of Prolife food is entrusted to the synergistic action of some components, the freshness of the ingredients and the care taken in the processing of raw materials throughout the supply chain.

NO GLUTEN
The increasingly frequent exposure of dogs and cats to gluten has generated the onset of sensitivity. To avoid these phenomena, gluten was excluded from the formulation of all Prolife line foods by choosing alternative sources of carbohydrates: potato, tapioca, rice and white sorghum.

NO WHEAT
Wheat and the products directly derived from it have a medium-high glycemic index: this means that they have a high concentration of readily and easily assimilable sugars that the dog's body is not physiologically predisposed to synthesize.

NO SOYA
Soy is often at the center of a very current debate on its qualities in relation to the risks associated with excessive consumption.
This is why it is not on the list of ingredients chosen for Prolife foods.

NO DAIRY AND DAIRY PRODUCTS
Growing up, with weaning, dogs lose the ability to produce lactase and therefore the ability to digest lactose, a naturally occurring sugar in milk. Prolonged administration of milk or dairy products can lead to intestinal absorption problems, poor digestion, vomiting and diarrhea.

NO SODIUM SELENITE
Sodium selenite is not present in Prolife foods because it is pro-oxidant, it is absorbed passively and only in limited quantities and not stored by the body. It also has a very low lethal dose (LD - letal dose) which increases the risk of incorrect dosage.
Prolife chose selenium in organic form because it is a cellular antioxidant, is involved in the synthesis of thyroid hormones, plays a role in the immune system and helps improve fertility.
