      kPROTECT is a product specifically formulated for dogs and cats suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD).
      With its highly purified components (Sodium Bicarbonate, Calcium Carbonate and Chitosan) kPROTECT may be useful in the control of metabolic acidosis and hypocalcemia, which are frequently diagnosed in the advanced stages of CKD in dogs and cats.
      Calcium Carbonate has proven efficacy in controlling hypocalcemia.
      Sodium Bicarbonate is effective in controlling metabolic acidosis.
      Chitosan can help improve azotemia in CKD affected animals. kPROTECT is recommended, combined with a diet for nephropaths and mixed with food, in dogs and cats with chronic kidney disease presenting with azotemia, metabolic acidosis and / or hypocalcemia.

      How to use

      kPROTECT chewable tablets : 1.25 g. One chewable tablet every 10 kg bodyweight twice a day administered with food at main meals.
      The daily dosage can be modified according to the instructions of your veterinarian.

      kPROTECT powder : from 45 g. One scoop every 5 kg bodyweight twice a day mixed with food at main meals.
      The daily dosage can be modified according to the instructions of your veterinarian.

      Composition
