Indications

• Support in the treatment of ear pathologies in which gram negative bacteria are present (Pseudomonas spp, Proteus spp…).
• Support in the treatment of ear pathologies in which gram positive bacteria are present (beta-hemolytic streptococci spp, Staphylococcus spp…).
• Increases the effectiveness of subsequent veterinary treatments.
• Strengthens the action of treatments that work better at basic pH.
• Creates a hostile environment for the growth of microorganisms in the short and long term.
• With perforated eardrum (or suspected perforation).
• Ear cleansing solution, to be applied before subsequent treatments.

How to use

It is recommended to apply ABELIA® TrisEDTA 15-30 minutes before the antibiotic to enhance its action. As an alternative, the master formula can be used.

• Fill the ear canal: apply 1-5 ml depending on the breed (at least 0.5 ml to 2 ml to reach the middle ear).
• Massage the base of the auricle for a few seconds.
• Clean excess solution or residue in the auricle with gauze.
• Do not remove the ABELIA® TrisEDTA solution.
• Apply every 12 or 24 hours for at least 4 weeks. The period must be established by your veterinarian based on the case.
• The ear canal should be re-evaluated by your veterinarian every 7-10 days. It is advisable to carry out control tests to evaluate the evolution.

Onset: 1-2 times/day. Maintenance / Prevention: apply 1-2 times/week.
