Spray for dogs and cats to be used as an adjuvant in the veterinary treatment of Malassezia dermatitis and dermatophytosis.

Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine 2%, Climbazole 2%, Ceramides.

Cases in which its use is recommended
Malassezia overgrowth and pyoderma are two very common problems in canine dermatology.
Most dermatological diseases can cause alterations of the most superficial layers of the epidermis, which results in a greater ability of bacteria to cause infection and of yeasts to proliferate and irritate the skin, particularly in subjects who have developed hypersensitivity to yeast.
Since most atopic dogs often develop a double overgrowth / infection, the combined action of the molecules present in the THERAMICOTIC SPRAY allows to treat the microorganisms avoiding, in most cases, the use of systemic antibiotics and antifungals.
The addition of ceramides then has the purpose of nourishing the epidermal barrier and allowing an adequate frequency of use of the shampoos.

The active ingredients of the formula are:

• Chlorhexidine 2%: molecule with bactericidal activity and persistent residual activity.

• Climbazole 2%: antifungal agent that guarantees a reduction of the defensive properties of the fungal membrane and the consequent death of the parasite.
  It has antibacterial action and regulates cell turnover.

• Ceramides : lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.

The combination of chlorhexidine 2 %-climbazolo 2% makes THERAMICOTIC SPRAY an effective product in the management of dermatitis in which there is a simultaneous infection by bacteria and yeasts.
The dual antifungal action of chlorhexidine and climbazole makes it possible to use THERAMICOTIC SPRAY also in the topical treatment of localized and generalized dermatophytosis, as an adjuvant to systemic antifungal therapy.

How to use
Spray generously on skin and coat, evenly or insisting on the areas to be treated, 1-2 times a day according to the advice of the veterinarian.
