Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET c/d Multicare dog food with chicken is a complete dietetic food for the reduction of recurrence of struvite stones, for the dissolution of struvite stones and for the reduction of the formation of oxalate stones in dogs adults. This food has urinary undersaturation properties due to struvite, urine alkalizing properties and low levels of magnesium, calcium and vitamin D.
Nutrition has been shown to reduce the risk of bladder stones and dissolve struvite stones.
Bladder stones are collections of mineral crystals that combine in the urinary tract. They can cause discomfort and lead to more serious problems that require veterinary attention.
