      Pralen maxi tablets for medium and large dogs - treatment of dog parasitic infestations caused by nematodes (round worms) and tapeworms (flatworms).

      1 tablet = micronized mebendazole 480 mg, praziquantel (microencapsulated) 40 mg

      Indications

      treatment of parasitic infestations in dogs caused by roundworms (worms roundworms) and tapeworms (flatworms): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Strongyloides stercoralis, Trichuris vulpis, Taenia ovis, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia multiceps, Dipylidium caninum, Mesocestoides spp, Echinococcus spp.

      Dosage

      for oral use. 1 tablet per 16 kg of weight for 2 consecutive days, equal to 30 mg/kg body weight/day of mebendazole and 2.5 mg/kg body weight/day of praziquantel. The tablet is easily divisible into 4 parts, each used to treat 4 kg of animal.Always round the weight of the animal to the next whole number. The chewable tablets are attractive to animals; they are taken spontaneously with rare exceptions; in these cases they can be crumbled and incorporated into a small quantity of desired food or mixed with kibble. During the treatment the animal does not lose liveliness or appetite.
