Restomyl supplement is referred to as:

Nutritional support for the health of the oral cavity of Cats. It prevents the adhesion and growth of the bacterial component of the plaque, improving the breath and decreasing the deposition of tartar.

Composition Ingredients:
-100% purified Ascophyllum nodosum (specifically selected alga). -Contains natural iodine. -Free from additives, preservatives, sugars and gluten. -Restomyl® supplement is a completely natural product. -Restomyl® supplement does not contain any substance that masks breath. Properties Restomyl® supplement improves breath by acting systemically. It contains, in fact, a brown alga (Ascophyllum nodosum) which, administered orally, is absorbed at the gastro-enteric level and, through the circulation, reaches the salivary glands and concentrates in the saliva. Ascophyllum nodosum acts in the oral cavity by virtue (1) of the high content of sulphated polysaccharides (eg fucoidan) which prevent the adhesion and colonization of bacteria; (2) the ability to reduce the deposition of tartar, thanks to the sulphate esters it contains. Precautions No side effects have ever been reported. However, in the course of hyperthyroidism therapies, it is advisable to discontinue the use of Restomyl® supplement, due to its natural iodine content.
