It is the complete dietary food designed for dogs suffering from diabetes mellitus. The reduced starch content helps control postprandial blood glucose levels to facilitate overall diabetes management. The high protein content associated with the intake of L-carnitine helps reduce fat mass while maintaining good muscle tone, for an optimal body condition. Adequate fiber intake (FOS) helps stimulate insulin production, slow gastric emptying and glucose absorption. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate help keep joints healthy.
The Prolife Veterinary Formula line includes nutritional components with specific therapeutic action useful in the nutritional treatment of various pathologies.
