      Farmina Vet Life Struvite Management cat is a complete dietetic food indicated for the management of recurrence of struvite uroliths and for the treatment of idiopathic cystitis.

      COMPOSITION
       Corn gluten, rice, dehydrated chicken meat, oats, animal fats, hydrolyzed animal proteins, dehydrated whole eggs, fish oil, dehydrated fish, potassium chloride, vegetable oil, calcium carbonate, fructooligosaccharides, mannanoligosaccharides, sodium chloride, glucosamine, marigold flower extract (source of lutein).
      Urine acidifier: ammonium chloride (3.5g / kg); DL-methionine (2.5g / kg).

      MECHANISM OF ACTION
      The low concentrations of proteins, phosphorus and magnesium generate an unfavorable environment for the aggregation and precipitation of struvite crystals.
      The acidifying action of DL-methionine and ammonium chloride maintain a slightly acidic urinary pH, inhibiting the formation of crystals and bacterial proliferation.
      These conditions make the product useful also in the treatment of idiopathic cystitis.
