Description NEW 12 MONTH REPELLENT PACKAGING AGAINST PHLEBOTOMES

The active ingredient of Scalibor (deltamethrin) is an effective repellent. Scalibor releases deltamethrin constantly and guarantees:

      • a prevention of tick infestations for 6 months
      • a prevention of flea infestations for 4 months
      • a prevention of the sting of sand flies for 12 months
      • a repellent effect on adult mosquitoes for 6 months

Deltamethrin is practically not absorbed through the dog's skin but forms a protective layer that has no side effects in pregnant and lactating bitches, nor on the puppies of the treated bitch.

To obtain complete protection against ticks, fleas, sand flies and mosquitoes, it is recommended to replace Scalibor ProtectorBand after 4 months from the first application, keeping the collar constantly worn from April to October.

Although occasional contact with water does not reduce the effectiveness of the collar, it should be removed before a dog bath or swim as the active ingredient is harmful to fish and other aquatic organisms. . Dogs should not enter the water for the first 5 days after applying the collar.

      Method of administration

Use one collar per subject; adjust the collar around the pet's neck without tightening it. Cut off the excess, leaving 5 cm from the clip.
The collar should preferably be applied 1 week before animals are introduced into an infested environment, as full activity is reached after 1 week.
It is recommended to treat all dogs in the same environment. Bathing does not affect the effectiveness of the collar. The collar can be used in puppies over 7 weeks of age.
